Women Reveal The Sexiest Professions… and Accountants are #1​

• Accountants have been voted the sexiest profession, according to a new survey
• CEOs and doctors rounded off the top 3, followed by lawyers and builders
• …but it’s bad news for waste collectors, customer services staff and lorry drivers – they’re the least sexy among us all
• The survey of over 800 women of IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, found that solvency, ambition and kindness were the sexiest qualities
• Jobs that paid poorly or didn’t require much intelligence fared poorly, with women deeming these the poorest qualities

It isn’t gardeners, and it’s not firemen, either. It is, in fact, accountants that are the sexiest profession going.

That’s according to a survey of over 800 women on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, with 21% of them voting accountants as the sexiest of all the professions.

CEOs came in second with 16% of the vote, due to their status and affluence, while doctors came third with 13%.

Other sexy professions included lawyers, builders and firemen, who received 11, 10 and 9 percent of the vote respectively.

So, what exactly makes a job sexy?

Well, the survey revealed that women found solvency, ambition and kindness as the sexiest qualities, while professions that were associated with poor pay, a lack of intelligence, and being general ‘dead-end’ jobs, were a turnoff.

This would explain the surprising turn of events that saw I.T. professionals scoring higher than gardeners (7% to 4%).

Katie, who responded to the survey, said:

“I’ve never actually met an attractive gardener. My gardener is called Steve, and he isn’t that hot.”

Bad news for Steve, then, but while he might not be able to live up to unrealistic expectations, he can take solace from the fact that it could be much worse.

The professions that were deemed the least sexy, receiving less than 1% of the vote, were waste collectors, customer services staff, lorry drivers and postmen.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“When someone says ‘sexy’, your first thought might be a ripped, topless fella that looks like he’s been stripped straight out of a trashy pop music video.

“As pleasant a thought as that may be, it’s not reality. While a physical attraction is important, rich, confident and creative folk do more to stimulate women’s minds, and that can’t be underestimated.

“Looks alone aren’t enough, because once that initial attraction wears off, you’re left with someone who lacks the confidence and intelligence to hold a half-decent conversation.”

Accountants Make Best Husbands…to Cheat on!!

New research released today by Britain’s largest married dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, shows that women cheat more on accountants than any other profession! When 1,500 female members across the UK were asked ‘What does your husband do for a career?’ the highest percentage of them (13%) said they were accountants.

The top six reasons these women started affairs were:

• 1)The excitement has gone in our marriage (563 votes)
• 2)We’ve lost our connection (233 votes)
• 3)The sex drive has gone in our marriage (214 votes)
• 4)We spend too much time apart (211 votes)
• 5)We spend too much time together (196 votes)
• 6)I don’t feel special to him any more (83 votes)

So why exactly do so many women want to marry an accountant but can’t stay faithful?

“Stability, both financial and personal is the number one thing people seek in marriages,” said psychologist Lucy Redford, “The typical accountant is seen as stable, reliable and responsible. Consciously or sub-consciously, all women seek these characteristics in a mate. The number one reason people stray from marriages is because excitement is replaced by routine, and what was once seen as a spark becomes a chore. Every relationship requires work, but it still needs to be worth working for.”

Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said “Finding out your partner had an affair isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Oftentimes it brings to the surface the unspoken tensions and problems couples have and when people cheat and are caught, it usually brings about better communication and clears the air.

On the good side, if you’re an accountant and your wife is straying, she won’t let the affair break her marriage, because only 3 in the 195 cheating women said they would consider leaving their accountant husbands!
