The Most Successful Words for An Online Dating Profile Have Been Revealed

  • The comprehensive list of the best and worst adjectives to use for your online dating profile have been revealed
  • Men are looking for a woman who describes herself as sexy, honest and confident, while women want honesty, intelligence and confidence
  • Women should stay away from describing themselves as shy, trustworthy and happy, while men should also avoid shy and happy, as well as curvy
  • Many men (4%) like women who describe themselves as curvy, but only 0.6% of women describe themselves in this way
  • Interestingly, women are more likely to describe themselves as sexy, but they’re less likely to ask for someone sexy in return
  • The results come from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, who studied over 400,000 profiles on their site

Struggling to get much attention on your online dating profile? Include the words “sexy”, “honest” and “confident” and your chances of success will significantly increase.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, studied over 400,000 profiles on their site to find what men and women were both looking for from their ideal partner, as well as how they described themselves.

If you’re a woman, then the key words to include on your profile are “sexy”, “honest” and “confident” as 15%, 10% and 7% of men respectively are after these traits more so than anything else.

In the meantime, stay well clear of describing yourself as shy (2%), trustworthy (1%) and, oddly enough, happy (0.3%).

If you’re a man whose profile is filled with references to how handsome everyone tells you you are, remove all of that and instead refer to yourself as honest (13%), intelligent (10%) and confident (9%); women value your character over your vanity.

In terms of what to avoid, there’s nothing that screams “undateable” quite like referring to yourself as shy, curvy or, again, happy; just  1%, 0.09% and 0.4% of women respectively are looking for these traits.

In terms of how people described themselves, you’re most likely to stumble across a man who’s honest (10%), intelligent (9%) and confident (8%), while women are honest (9%), sexy (8%) and intelligent (7%).

Interestingly, many men (4%) like women who describe themselves as curvy, but only 0.6% of women describe themselves in this way. Women are, however, more likely to describe themselves as sexy, but they’re less likely to ask for someone sexy in return.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explained the importance of creating a good first impression:

“With so much competition, the world of online dating is all about fine margins; anything that’s even slightly off-putting marks you as a liability.

“Many people struggle to strike the balance between confidence and arrogance, instead adopting an overly modest approach, but that rarely works. Who wants to go out with someone who describes themselves as shy and introverted? Nobody, that’s who.

“It’s no surprise to see that both men and women are looking for someone whose honest and confident, but there are some interesting differences between the sexes.

“Most notably, men are, on the whole, gravitated more toward someone who really sells their looks; words such as ‘sexy’ or ‘curvy’ are all-important.

“While these aren’t exactly unimportant to women, you’ll find that they’re more concerned if someone’s intelligent or affectionate  – without that, it doesn’t matter how sexy you are.”

Adultery Set to Peak, As Back to School Sends Love Rats Back to Bed

Image result for affair

  • Children back at school has sent adulterous parents back to bed
  • IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, has seen a 10% year-on-year increase in registrations for the first 10 days of September
  • Over 2,500 people have joined the site in September so far, with the luxury of an empty house affording them the perfect opportunity to cheat
  • 75% of all registrations for the first 10 days of September have been women, as almost 90% of stay at home parents are women, according to the Office for National Statistics

Acts of adultery have hit fever pitch in the month of September, a new report suggests.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, has seen a 10% year-on-year increase in registrations for the first 10 days of September, with over 2,500 people joining the site.

“It’s down to education,” explains the site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant.

“To be more specific, it’s down to children, teens and young adults returning or making their first foray into schools, colleges and universities.

After a busy summer period, a lot of parents might be initially grateful of a house devoid of people, especially if it’s young kids or unruly teenagers.

However, an empty house is conducive to an affair. There’s the obvious reason: you’ve got an empty space and several hours to meet up with whomever you please, but there’s more to it than that.

Periods of isolation allow for contemplation and self-reflection, and it’s in these periods of thought, without any distractions, that husbands and wives begin to truly come to terms with the flaws in their marriages.”

Interestingly, the site has seen a greater number of women joining the site than men in the first 10 days of September, with women making up 75% of registrations so far.

Grant explains:

“We’ve always had a majority of female registrations in previous Septembers, and this hasn’t changed. While there are far too many variables at play to pinpoint a specific reason for this, it’s impossible to ignore the fact that the overwhelming majority of parents who stay at home are women.

While this number is decreasing every year, a report from the Office for National Statistics in 2015 stated that 2.01 million of 2.26 million of those unemployed because they are at home and/or taking care of their family are women.

In other words, the lonely person in the empty house is far, far more likely to be a woman.”

Hell really does hath no fury like a woman scorned – they are more ruthless at ending marriages after discovering an affair, according to new study

Image result for hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

* Men are MORE willing to forgive affairs than women;
* Women are better at hiding their cheating behaviour than men;
* Facebook is most common reason for a woman starting an affair;
* Most common reason for men was dissatisfaction in the bedroom;
* Results are from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people
MEN are more willing to forgive affairs than women, according to new study.
It found that 67% of men are prepared to give marriage a second chance after discovering their wife’s betrayal.
In contrast, only 52% of women say they would stay with their husband after discovering his adultery.
The main reason why men are more forgiving is because of the reasons why men and women cheat in the first place.
A third of men (32%) said their wife had cheated because they had been neglectful and they could understand why they had strayed.
Almost half of wives (54%) said they were unable to move on from the adultery because they felt it was part of a pattern and would happen again.
The results come from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It found that women are better at hiding their affairs than men.
Just over half of female adulterers (52%) said their husband had no idea they had been unfaithful despite having several affairs.
Only 42% of male cheats remained completely undiscovered.
The key to saving a marriage in the wake of an affair is how the other half discovers the betrayal.
If the women owns up and pledges to stay with her husband, the marriage survives in 82% of cases.
But if the man confesses and wants to save his marriage, he is only successful in 68% of cases – again because of this pattern of cheating.
If the woman is caught out by her husband, the survival rates drops to 52%.
If the man is caught cheating, the survival rate is slightly worse at 42% – showing again that women are more ruthless in dealing with betrayal.
The most common reason for a new affair for women is Facebook – where they are likely to hook up with an old flame. Facebook is now cited in a third of all divorce cases
For men, the most common reason for a new affair is dissatisfaction in the bedroom and the desire for fresh excitement.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “The phrase hell hath no fury like a woman scorned really does seem to be rooted in fact.
“This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much more badly to cheating that men and that a husband’s adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife’s.
“Women are better at covering up their cheating than men and it clear that there are millions of husbands who have no idea about their wife’s illicit behaviour.”
Women date more actively on IllicitEncounters.com than men – enjoying an average of three dates a month compared to men’s two.
The site, an authority on infidelity, has more than a one million registered members and most people on the site remain with their spouses while discreetly seeing other partners.

He’s Grabbed His Balls, Swung His Wood and Got the Birdie, But He’s Not Even on the Course

  • ‘Playing golf’ is the most popular excuse that cheating men tell their wives when they’re off to meet their mistress’ (34%)
  • Other popular excuses include ‘business meetings / working late’ (27%) and ‘going to the pub with mates’ (13%).
  • Golf provides the perfect cover, as it can often take several hours, can be played on a regular basis without raising suspicion, and is also relatively weather-proof
  • The results come from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity

Telling your wife that you’re off for a round of golf is riddled with sultry and salacious undertones, a new study has revealed.

According to IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, telling your wife that you’re going for a few rounds of golf with your friends is the most popular excuse adulterers use when sneaking out to meet their mistress’.

In a survey of over 2,000 men, 34% said that they told their wife they were going to play 18 holes as a cover for their affair. Other popular excuses include ‘business meetings / working late’ (27%), ‘going to the pub with mates’ (13%), ‘going to the gym’ (5%) and ‘shopping for groceries’ (4%).

It’s a result that may surprise many, but Christian Grant, the site’s spokesperson, explains why it shouldn’t:

“Saying that you’re going for a round of golf ticks all the boxes. Firstly, it covers you for several hours, especially if you’re playing 18 holes and not 9.

It’s also something you can do fairly consistently without raising too much suspicion.

For example, your wife would eventually begin to question you if you kept citing business meetings as your excuse – how many business meetings can someone realistically have, and after work no less?

Thirdly, with golf a popular hobby among men, it’s much more likely that your wife will respect your space, especially if it’s your sole hobby – they’re far less likely to question their husband playing a sport than, say, going to the pub.

And, finally, it’s also relatively weather-proof, as driving ranges still operate even when the weather is a little sour.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention Tiger Woods, one of the most infamous cheating celebrities of all time and a legend of the sport. We don’t want to say he’s had an influence, but at the same time, to say that he hasn’t had some sort of impact, however small, is just simply not true.”

Tony, 44, added:

“It doesn’t require much effort, really. But if you do want to go the extra mile, you can dish out on some relatively low-cost golf clubs, and maybe some gloves too, and that adds enough believability to your story that you’ve nothing to worry about.

I don’t really know anything about golf, but neither does my wife, so if she ever asks me how it went, I can usually improvise my way through it by using some basic golf terminology; ‘it was good, but the bogey on hole 15 cost me the victory,’ – that usually does the trick.”

The full list of excuses men use to meet their mistress’:

1. Playing Golf (34%)

2. Business Meetings / Working Late (27%)

3. Other (17%)

4. Going to the Pub (13%)

5. Going to the Gym (5%)

6. Shopping for Groceries (4%)

What do Jay Z, Low Wages and an Early Marriage Have In Common? They’re Wrecking Young People’s Marriages

  • There has been a huge increase in the number of young people aged 21-30 having affairs, with that age group the least faithful they have ever been
  • 44% of affair-seekers aged 21-30 chose not to divorce because of the financial implications, while 50% were worried about what a divorce might mean for their children
  • Those factors have driven them to affairs, with IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, witnessing a 20% year-on-year increase in the amount of people aged 21-30 signing up to the site
  • Almost three quarters (71%) felt that they could have an affair and get away with it; celebrity culture is partly to blame, as many celebrities, like Jay Z, have affairs but still thrive in their careers and remain popular among their fans
  • Of over 1,000 peopled aged 21-30 who were surveyed, 78% cited a premature marriage as the main cause for the breakdown of their marriage

More and more young people are having affairs, so says a new survey. IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, has reported a 20% increase year-on-year in the amount of people aged 21-30 signing up to the site.

Of over 1,000 young people who were surveyed, an overwhelming 78% admitted they had “married too young” and have since sought to have an affair as a result of their relationship with their partner breaking down.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“There is more and more pressure on young people to have the perfect relationship. We live in a connected world whereby we’re constantly seeing the smiling faces of our friends and family, be it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – you name it – and we can’t help but compare our lives to theirs.

It’s a classic case of keeping up with the Jones’, and that mentality means people make rash decisions, one of them being a premature marriage.”

But if a marriage is turning sour, wouldn’t the simple answer be to get a divorce?

Well, of the 1,000 affair-seekers aged 21-30 who were surveyed, 44% were too scared to divorce because of the financial implications, while 50% said that they didn’t want a divorce for the sake of their children.

As Grant explains, a divorce isn’t always a viable option:

“People of all ages come to a site like IllicitEncounters because they’re worried about divorce. They don’t want to put their kids through it, for one, but they’re also worried about what it’ll mean for their finances. Young people share those exact same issues, except they’re much worse.

On average, they’re on lower wages than those 10, 20 or 30 years older than them; they’ve got student loans to pay off… they’re only just managing as it is, so the idea of a divorce might be nice, but it’s not necessarily realistic, from a financial perspective if nothing else.”

You’ve also got to factor in celebrity culture. How many celebrities cheat, then aren’t really held to task? Whether it’s movie stars like Kristen Stewart or Ben Affleck, musicians like Jay Z, and everything in between – these celebrities have affairs and aren’t exactly punished for it – quite the opposite in fact. They still thrive in their careers, and they’re still loved by their fans, so it’s easy for anyone to look at that and think, ‘well, what have I got to lose?”

This corroborates with the results from the site’s survey, as almost three quarters (71%) felt that they could have an affair and get away with it.

Beware of the figure 9 – it is the danger age for affairs, according to a new study

* People are more likely to cheat in the last year of a decade – when they are 19, 29, 39, 49 and 59;
* The most dangerous age of all for cheating is 39 – the same age as stars Orlando Bloom, Chris Martin and Liv Tyler;
* The last year of a decade is seen a watershed in people’s lives – and they are more likely to look for fresh excitement;
* Most common reason for cheating is a lack of excitement in the bedroom at home;
* Results come from a new study of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

People are more likely to cheat on their partners in the last year of a decade of their lives, according to new study.
It means that men or women are more likely to be unfaithful when they are 19, 29, 39, 49 or 59.

The last year of decade is seen as a watershed in people’s lives – and they are more likely to assess their options and look for fresh excitement.

The most dangerous age for affairs is 39 – because for many people, life really does begin at 40.

Famous people who are 39 include actors Orlando Bloom and Michael Fassbender, Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actresses Liv Tyler and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

There is no suggestion that any of them have cheated or are planning to cheat, but they have all reached the ‘danger age’ when people are more likely to stray.

The second most popular cheating age is 49.

Famous people who are 49 include Nicole Kidman, former Prime Minister David Cameron, Noel Gallagher from Oasis and Keifer Sutherland from 24.

The third most vulnerable age for cheating is 29.

That is the same age as supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely and England goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The results come from a new study of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It looked at patterns for cheating and the most common ages when people stray from their partners.

It found that the five top reasons for cheating were: 1 Lack of excitement in the bedroom – 76% 2 An opportunity came along I could not refuse – 54% 3 I was bored with my current partner – 46% 4 I reconnected with an old flame on social media 28% 5 I fancied a change – 22%.

The study found that people were twice as likely to go looking for a new partner online in the last year of a decade than at other times.

There were 18% more profiles in this age category than for other years in the decade.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “Beware of the figure 9 – it is the
danger age as far affairs are concerned.

“This is applicable to men and women. Both go looking for affairs when they are on the verge of entering a new decade.

“IllicitEncounters.com research shows that some people cheat to get their partner’s attention. If their partner’s a workaholic or unavailable to them, being caught with someone else is a way of saying: ‘Hey, if you love me, pay attention to me!’

“‘Payback cheating’ is also common. If you’ve cheated in the past or done something else to hurt your partner, they might retaliate to get even.”

IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity, has more than one million registered members in the UK.

Its subscriptions rise by 25% over the summer months as more people look for fun in the sun.

It’s An F for that ASSignment, As Teachers Flunk the Faithful Test

  • Teachers are the most likely to have an affair with their colleagues, a new survey has revealed
  • 27% of teachers admitted to having had sex with a colleague in a classroom
  • Lawyers, pilots and journalists are also among the most likely, with long working hours and work-related stress cited as the main cause of an affair with a colleague
  • 72% of men instigate an affair with their colleague, while women think of other alternatives to “de-stress” before resulting to an affair, adding credence to the idea that men are sleazier
  • The survey of over 1,500 people is brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity.

There are arguably some lines that should never be crossed, but of those of us that do, teachers sit atop the pyramid of debauchery. The news comes by way of a new survey of over 1,500 people which found the professions that most commonly have an affair with their colleagues.

It is, perhaps rather surprisingly, educators who are the most adulterous among us in this respect.

In second place are lawyers (17%), followed by pilots (13%), journalists (12%) and doctors (9%).

The results are brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity. Their spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“There’s a line in the sand, but this lot have smashed past it without even so much as a second thought. While you should almost never mix work and play, it appears that those with jobs that, firstly, put employees under extreme duress on a daily basis and, secondly, are in an environment that allows for friendships to be forged and positive bonds to be established… they’re the ones who are most likely to cross the proverbial line in the sand.”

He adds:

“Teachers are now closing the book after another undoubtedly stressful year. Whether they’re stressing over targets, an impromptu Ofsted inspection or their class’ exams, they always have their colleagues’ shoulders to lean on, in what is generally a positive environment.

However, when the work becomes too much, they’re doing a little bit more than just leaning on a shoulder of their colleague, and choose to ‘de-stress’ in other ways.

Then, of course, you have your doctors and your lawyers; the foundations for infidelity remain the same. Long hours, stress and a serious imbalance of work and play.”

The survey also revealed that 27% of teachers had an affair with a colleague within school walls, while 15% of lawyers and 8% of journalists did the same in their respective places of work.

Interestingly, the gender breakdown painted a picture of a different sort, revealing that men are the most likely to make the first move and instigate the affair with their colleague(s).

In fact, the numbers were very much in their favour, with 72% of men assuming the role of the instigator compared to just 28% of women.

Women, meanwhile, are much more likely to pursue other alternatives to de-stress first, before eventually turning to an affair with a colleague.

Grant explains:

“Even in professions like teaching, traditionally dominated by women (particularly in primary education) men are the predators, so to speak. Instead of thinking of alternatives to solve any stress or work related issues they may have, the significant majority think with a completely different organ entirely.

Whether that further adds credence to the stereotypical view that men are sleazier with more of a one track mind, well who’s to say?”

The full results are as follows:

Most Likely to Cheat within their Profession

1.     Teacher (19%)
2.     Lawyer (17%)
3.     Other (15%)
4.     Pilot (13%)
5.     Journalist (12%)
6.     Doctor (9%)
7.     Nurse (8%)
8.     Police Officer (5%)
9.     Event Planners (2%)

Men With Big Feet Are More Likely to Cheat!

  • Men with a shoe size of 10 or over are at least twice as likely to cheat on their partner, compared to those with a shoe size of less than 10
  • The most common shoe size for adulterous men was 10.5
  • Many famous celebrity cheats, including Bill Clinton and Tiger Woods, sport a shoe size of 10 or over
  • There was no correlation to be found between adultery and shoe size when it came to women
  • The research was conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Having big feet means you have a large c… chance of having an affair. IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed over 1,500 of their male members and found a positive correlation between a man’s shoe size and their likelihood of having an affair.

Men with a shoe size of 10 or over are at least twice as likely to have an affair than those with a shoe size of less than 10, while the most faithful men sport feet between the sizes of 7 and 9. The most common shoe size for adulterous men was 10.5.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, said:

“While many would argue that there’s more to having an affair than one’s foot size, the data doesn’t lie. Men who sport a shoe size of 10 and over account for 85% of all men on the site, with the remaining 15% having a shoe size of 9 and under.

It looks like women whose husbands have small feet can sleep relatively comfortably at night, while those with husbands who have a big pair of loafers should perhaps be more mindful.”

The results of the study also correlate with various celebrity cheats, with Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant and Gavin Rossdale all sporting a shoe size of 10 and over.

Interestingly, the same could not be said of women. Of the 1,000 women who were surveyed, there was no correlation to be found between big feet and adultery, though the most common shoe size was 6.5 (13%).

“While women across the country have something to potentially stress over, the nation’s husbands have the privilege of not having any feet related paranoia,” said Grant.

Will Your Marriage Survive Euro 2016? Survey says: Probably not, no.

  • IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, saw 72% of all female signups between Friday and Sunday cite their husbands’ obsession with the football as their main reason for wanting to cheat
  • There was a 61% rise in site usage compared to an average, out of season weekend, peaking at two hours before and two hours after the start and conclusion of Saturday’s match between England and Russia
  • 35% of the weekend’s female signups admitted to wanting an affair because their partner would rather watch football than have sex
  • 20% said that football provides them a good opportunity to cheat
  • A further 25% said that their partner becomes “unreasonable” when watching football

Thousands of ‘football widows’ have taken to the internet in search of an affair in the wake of the European Championships.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading website for married people, has surveyed their new female signups between Friday 10th and Sunday 12th June, with almost three quarters (72%) citing the European Championships, or rather their husbands’ obsession with it, as their main reason for joining.

The site also reported a 61% rise in site usage compared to an average, out of season weekend, which, rather unsurprisingly, peaked between two hours before and two hours after the start and conclusion of Saturday’s match between England and Russia.

Christian Grant, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, commented:

“A mid-summer weekend in June is generally an out of season period for us, so these results should provide a wakeup call of sorts to the millions of football fans across the UK.

With three games a day for several days, and the involvement of all our home nations with the exception of Scotland, we can be quietly confident these numbers are going to maintain this level over the next few weeks or so.”

Of the women who signed up between Friday and Sunday, 35% claimed they had done so because their partner chose football over sex.

A further 25% claimed that their partner becomes “unreasonable” during football, while 20% said that they used the European Championships as the perfect distraction to sign up to the site.

Grant added:

“With nine months of domestic football having only just come to its conclusion, another month of constant neglect, with other sporting events such as Wimbledon and the Olympics following shortly after, is proving to be the final straw for thousands of women.”

Rosie, 38, said:

“When the football is on, my name is only mentioned because of the occasional request for beer and snacks, or if my husband has used me as a punchline to a joke so he can impress his mates. Other than that, I might as well be invisible.”

Beer goggles do exist – and you are more likely to have sex on date if you have been boozing, according to a new survey.

* Three-quarters of women said booze had made a man they had not previously fancied seem more attractive;
* 84% of men said alcohol had changed their first impressions of a female date and made them keener to take things further;
* The vast majority of women (86%) said they were more likely to sleep with a man on a date if alcohol was involved;
* 92% of men said booze made sex more likely on a date;
* The results from a new survey of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

Three-quarters of women (74%) said that alcohol had made a man they had not previously fancied on a date seem more attractive.

And 84% of men said a few drinks had changed unfavourable first impressions of a female date and made them keener to take things further.

The vast majority of women (86%) said they were more likely to sleep with a man on a date if alcohol was involved.

Nine out of ten men (92%) said booze made sex more likely on a date.

The results come from a new survey of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, the leading dating website for married people.

The dictionary definition of beer boggles is the “phenomenon in which one’s consumption of alcohol makes physically unattractive persons appear beautiful.”

The survey found that 54% of women had ended up having sex with a man while wearing beer goggles.

In 84% of cases, the women had not seen the man for a further date.

Two-thirds of men (64%) had had beer goggle sex – and most (76%) had not seen the woman for a second date.

Despite these findings, 68% of women and 82% of men like to drink alcohol on a first date.
The main reason both sexes hit the booze is that it ‘helps to break the ice’ – chosen by 72% of women and 87% of men.

Most men (77%) and the majority of women (64%) said they felt more confident after a drink.

The most popular time to wear beer goggles is when you are student.

More than half of men (54%) and 48% of women said they had had beer goggle sex when they were at college.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said:

“Dating is a stressful business – you are meeting a new person and need to make a good impression fast.

It’s no wonder that both sexes finding that drinking alcohol makes the whole process a lot easier.

As the booze flows, inevitably the beer goggles come on and dates that might have finished with a quick peck on the cheek end up going far further.

That is the experience of millions of people who are dating online including lots of members of IllicitEncounters.com – you end up kissing a few ugly ducklings before meeting your swan.

Beer goggle sex may not lead to true love most of the time, but it can often be a lot of fun.”

llicitEncounters.com has more than a million members in the UK.

Most of its male members are white collar professionals earning an average of £54,000 a year.

Women on the site cheat more than men – enjoying three clandestine dates a month, compared to men’s two.
