Theresa May Leads the Polls As She’s Officially Voted the UK’s Sexiest Politician

  • Jeremy Hunt and Theresa May are officially the UK’s sexiest politicians
  • With 24% of the female vote and 24% of the male vote, Jeremy Hunt and Theresa May top the list
  • On the other hand, Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron (3%) and Shadow Home Secretary Dianne Abbott (2%) are the least desirable politicians
  • Men said that power (40%), intelligence (30%) and solvency (25%) were the most important factors behind their decisions
  • Women had a similar set of priorities; intelligence (44%), power (30%) and solvency (20%).
  • The results come from a survey of over 500 members on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

With the general election just weeks away, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, has asked its members to take part in a slightly different kind of poll, with over 500 of its members asked on which politician they find sexiest.

Surprisingly, much maligned health secretary Jeremy Hunt topped the polls, receiving 24% of the female vote.

In second place was none other than Boris Johnson (20%), followed closely by Labour MP Dan Jarvis (15%) and, oddly, Jeremy Corbyn (10%),

On the other hand, Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron received just 3% of the vote, making him the least attractive politician.

John McDonnell, didn’t fare so well either; with just 5% of the vote, only Tim Farron is less attractive than he is.

Other notable entries include former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who received 7% of the female vote.

Perhaps rather surprisingly, Theresa May was voted as the sexiest female politician (24%), with Yvette Cooper a close second (20%). Green Party leader Caroline Lucas rounded off the top 3 (18%).

There was no surprise when it came to the least popular female politician however: Dianne Abbott. Receiving just 2% of the male vote, she beat Emily Thornberry (4%) and Nicky Morgan (6%) to bottom spot.

Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson also featured,  as did Conservative MP Esther McVey;  both received 9% of the vote.

Men said that power (40%), intelligence (30%) and solvency (25%) were the most important factors behind their decisions, while women had a similar set of priorities; intelligence (44%), power (30%) and solvency (20%).

Christian Grant, spokesperson for the site, explains:

“It’s fair to say that, on the looks front, the British political scene is missing a Justin Trudeau, Emmanuel Macron or even a Sarah Palin.

“What we do have, however, are intelligent and solvent people, and that’s where the attraction seems to primarily lie. Theresa May kitted out in lingerie doesn’t really make for a sexy calendar, but for many people, power is attractive, and she’s definitely got that in abundance.

“The same can be said of Corbyn; he’s got that cute grandad thing going on. For Tim Farron and Dianne Abbot, however, well, the latter hasn’t even mastered the basics of mathematics for crying out loud.”

Most Attractive Politicians – Male

  1. Jeremy Hunt (24%)
  2. Boris Johnson (20%)
  3. Dan Jarvis (15%)
  4. Jeremy Corbyn (10%)
  5. Michael Gove (8%)
  6. Other (8%)
  7. Nigel Farage (7%)
  8. John McDonnell (5%)
  9. Tim Farron (3%)

Most Attractive Politicians – Female

  1. Theresa May (24%)
  2. Yvette Cooper (20%)
  3. Caroline Lucas (18%)
  4. Esther McVey (9%)
  5. Ruth Davidson (9%)
  6. Other (8%)
  7. Nicky Morgan (6%)
  8. Emily Thornberry (4%)
  9. Dianne Abbott (2%)

A Parliamentary Affair – Gove Repels More than Just Conservative Voters

  • Men and women would most like to cheat with Stephen Crabb and Gloria De Piero respectively
  • Most men would completely avoid Nicky Morgan, while Michael Gove sends most women running for the hills
  • Most men would leave their wife for Theresa May, thanks to her solvency and power, while most women would do the same for Nick Clegg
  • Outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron earned just 2% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, with 3% voting for him in the ‘avoid’ category.
  • 18% of women would avoid Nigel Farage entirely
  • The results are brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading authority on infidelity

Underneath the political civil war and seemingly impending doom and gloom of a post-Brexit Britain, IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity, asked its members to take part in a slightly different kind of poll, with over 1,000 of them voting on which politician they would most like to have an affair with, divorce their spouse for or avoid entirely.

The results reveal that most women (30%) would most like to have an affair with conservative MP Stephen Crabb, while men would most like to be unfaithful with Labour MP Gloria De Piero – she received 40% of the male vote.

Perhaps rather surprisingly, Theresa May was voted as the politician that most men would divorce their partner for (33%), with 75% of those who voted for her citing her solvency and seemingly imminent rise to the top table as their main reasons for doing so.

The women approached things from a different angle; not choosing someone who was in power, rather someone who has recently relinquished it, as 30% would divorce their husband for former Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.

33% of those who voted for Clegg did so because they thought he was a decent and genuine man, while 25% said that they thought he would make a good father.

And for the politician that most people would avoid? Well, Michael Gove was a comfortable winner here, raking in 40% of the female vote, while Jeremy Corbyn finished in 2nd place with 20% of the vote.

Men, meanwhile, would most avoid education secretary Nicky Morgan, who gained 35% of the vote. She beat Shadow Health Secretary Diane Abbot, who came second with 25% of the vote.

Outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron earned just 2% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, with 3% voting for him in the ‘avoid’ category.

Former Labour leader Ed Miliband edged out Cameron in both categories, receiving 3% and 4% of the vote respectively.

Former UKIP leader and Brexit figurehead Nigel Farage received 10% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, but 18% would avoid him entirely.

“Politicians are rarely known for their beauty…” says IllicitEncounters.com’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, “…but there are certainly a few presentable MPs.

It was no surprise to see the presentable Stephen Crabb and Gloria De Piero top their respective polls.

With that having been said, perhaps the most notable point is the difference between men and women when it came to the politician they’d most likely divorce their own partner for.

While men gravitated to Theresa May for her power and status – and less so her physical appearance – women placed more importance on different issues, voting for who they felt was the most decent and honest person, as well as who would make the best father.”

One in Three Affair Seekers Would Cheat with Someone ‘Off Limits’

hx07uueahz3rduvhmbu4

New research by the UK’s largest married dating site IllicitEncounters.com has shed light on why so many high profile celebrities are tempted into affairs with people who are closest to them. With a third of affair seekers admitting they would be willing to cheat with a husbands or wife’s close relative.

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 2000 of it’s members posing the question ‘Have you ever been tempted to have an illicit encounter with your partners relative such as a brother or sister in law?’ Out of the 2000 members an extraordinary 34% members answered ‘Yes’.

Out of the members admitting they have encountered temptation with someone close to them, an astonishing 11% also admitted that they have first hand experience of dalliance with a spouse’s family member.

It is very interesting that such a large percentage of people have fantasized about being unfaithful with someone so close to them, after all it is entering very dangerous territory. Perhaps it is the thrill and spontaneity of doing something that is regarded as ‘forbidden’ that entices people to want to pursue something which is deemed taboo. The other shocking revelation is that 11% of members surveyed have had some form of casual contact with a close family relative – suggesting that this is not as uncommon as we are led to believe.

Julie from Norfolk, a member who uses the site said ‘It started with a kiss. My partner and I hosted a BBQ at our place. Everyone left and me and my brother-in-law helped put my husband to bed. Afterwards we decided to have one last drink on the patio, one minute we’re chatting, next thing I know our lips were locked and the rest is history. It was passion like I’ve never experienced before, that moment I realised I’ve been trying to suppress a desire that had been brewing for 10 years, and he admitted that he always had always a thing for me too’

Claire Page spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com remarked ‘Everybody wants a taste of the forbidden fruit. Cheating with a husband or wife’s family member isn’t that unusual. Ryan Giggs had an 8 year affair with his brother Rhodri’s wife, and now were told that Sally Bercow has been at it with her husbands cousin! The ease is there, you don’t need to go looking for an affair – a potential lover is readily available. Though, to have a successful love affair – it’s probably a better idea to find someone that your partner doesn’t know.

I can completely understand how this kind of situation may arise, if your constantly faced with your husbands even hotter brother, how many times can you possibly stop yourself?

Spending a lot of time with someone you’re expected to suppress feelings for, sometimes boundaries can be a little blurred – mix that in with an insatiable longing and your heading for the adulterous train, all aboard!’

The UK’s Most Unfaithful Constituencies Revealed

lcoj4wz3wxcqph1z5odc

With election fever gripping the nation, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading married dating website, has released data revealing the UK’s most unfaithful constituencies.

ElectionInfidelity.com cross-references the data of almost 1 million adulterers against the constituency they are in to reveal the illicit political hotspots within the United Kingdom.

Whilst conservatives are the most unfaithful voters, 4 of the top 5 most illicit constituencies are Labour:

1 Nottingham South Labour
2 South Cambridgeshire Conservative
3 Greenwich and Woolwich Labour
4 Newcastle-Upon-Tyne East Labour
5 Leyton and Wanstead Labour

Overall, Conservatives just pipped Labour to the post with the most unfaithful constituencies with a ranking of 13.67% against Labour’s 13.08%

Scotland has fared very well with only one constituency within the top 20. SNP voters also came in low with a ranking of only 8%

The most faithful constituency was Leigh in Greater Manchester.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Simon Francis said: “The results speak for themselves with the mainstream constituencies having the most unfaithful voters. What’s interesting is that smaller parties came in so low suggesting that the same moral compass that guides our personal lives is also prevalent within our voting habits. But if you can’t trust Labour or Conservative to stay faithful then how can we trust them to run our country.”

To see how your faithful your constituency is go to www.electioninfidelity.com
How the Data Works

The number of people cheating in each constituency was calculated using the postcode data of 995,000 members of IllicitEncounters.com. This was then ran against the number of people eligible to vote in each constituency to give a percentage or Infidelity Index for that area.

The party ranking was calculated by taking the party holding the seat in the constituency of all our members.

Seat party holder is based on who won the seat in the 2010 General Election.
