IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extra-marital dating website, is celebrating its tenth year this year, and over the last ten years the site has seen consistent growth in the number of people looking to engage in an affair. With over 850,000 members, approximately 6% of the UK’s married population are logging on in search of an extra-marital tryst.

Research from the UK’s largest married dating site IllicitEncounters.com has revealed that women who are having, or are looking for an extra-marital tryst were far more likely to dress in a more risqué manner.

The survey of 10,000 female members of IllicitEncounters.com showed that an overwhelming number of adulteresses felt more comfortable dressing in sexy outfits since joining the site.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Rosie Freeman-Jones commented: “Halloween is an opportunity to dress up in an outrageously sexy manner without feeling exposed. Anything from PVC cat suits to a naughty nurse outfit is acceptable over Halloween, and for ladies this means they can show their overtly sexual side, without being questioned by their spouses. As much as they may long to whip out the suspenders and PVC on a regular Thursday night, their husbands would surely question their motivation, whereas their lovers would relish the show. Halloween allows a little bit of freedom and the chance to be more daring and liberated.”

A surprising 77% of the women surveyed said that they would be dressing in a more risqué manner this Halloween compared to the last few years. 74% of female members also disclosed that since joining the site they had more confidence, 89% said they felt more attractive and 49% would now be more likely to make the first move when meeting a guy they like.

So if your other-halves’ fancy dress costume has gone from bed sheet ghost to a sexy vampire, be warned it could be more than just fun she is looking for at this year’s Halloween party.
