IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed over 2000 women and posed the question “Have you ever used Halloween as an excuse to cheat on your partner?” 70% of women replied with a resounding yes, while the remaining 30% said no.

The new research disproves the myth that there are no shortcuts when it comes to shedding pounds after a poll of 1,600 female customers found you can in fact cheat your way slim.

Respondents were posed the following question: ‘Have you found an affair a more effective tool for losing weight than a diet?’ An overwhelming 60% of respondents said yes.

25% claimed that they were unsure, while the remaining 15% disagreed with the majority verdict.

Hacking Scandal Sends Thousands of Men Running for the Hills

The infamous Ashley Madison scandal, which saw the personal data of millions of its users compromised, has left its closest competitors short of male subscribers.

Illicitencounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married couples, have reported a major decrease in their male subscribers. A significant amount of male members have also either abandoned the site or requested a permanent deletion of their account, with as many as 2500 less men registering to the site.. A 35% drop month on month.

The website also noted that an average of just 200 men were signing up to the website on a daily basis, down from the average daily expectancy of 450.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Claire Page, stated: “In light of recent events, we’ve found ourselves directly and negatively impacted. We’ve always proudly held a relatively even ratio of men to women, but our male user base has taken somewhat of a blow.”

The website has seen an increase in the number of female members, a 10% increase in new female subscribers month on month.
