As The UK’s leading married dating site today hits 1 million members, IllicitEncounters.com is releasing a survey showing that having sex in your forties is the best period.

It seems quality trumps quantity when it comes to sexual satisfaction; the UK’s largest married dating site has revealed that our 40’s are the best decade to have sex, even though we’re having less of it.

The affairs site surveyed 385 women and 443 men and found that 37.4% of women and 34.5% of men believed that the best time to have sex was in their 40’s.

The next best age is 30’s with 23% of women selecting this age and 26.2% of men.

The study also concluded that men and women have the most sex in their 20’s with 56% voting for twenties to be the peak in their sex life with the majority of their sexual liaisons happening at this time. Forty’s faired significantly lower with only 12% suggesting that the number of sexual partners you have is less significant to the quality of the sex.

The main reason for those selecting their forties was that they felt more sexually experienced at this time.

This completely quashes a recent survey by Healthspan saying that most people have gone off sex by the age of 41. It seems those opting to have an affair experience a whole new lease of life sexually, and whilst they may have gone off their partners they have rediscovered the joy of sex with IllicitEncounters.com.

A female member on the site commented ‘‘I think women as they get older realise they deserve better sex and therefore they demand more attention’ with another adding ‘In my thirties I had small children and I was more committed to my domestic arrangements. No to Businessmen, Builders voted best to build a relationship with!

According to new research released by IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s largest extra-marital affairs site, women prefer Tradesman over white-collared workers.
The affairs site surveyed 1800 women asking them which occupation they would most like to have a relationship with. Out of 15 occupation fields, Tradesmen ranked top with just over a quarter of the vote.

In second place came ‘Arts and Design’ with 12% of the vote and third place Accountancy & Finance (7%).

Out of the 15 occupation fields Retail (1%), Hospitality (2%) and those working in the Public Sector (2%) fared the lowest.

The biggest difference between ‘Tradesmen’ and the other listed occupations is that their jobs are the most physically demanding. Perhaps those in the more mentally demanding jobs are less emotionally available because their day job demands a higher level of mental ability – leaving less room to enjoy this within their personal lives.

Those working in ‘Arts and Design’ coming second reinforces the idea that Artists are very emotive individuals that are able to immerse themselves in a relationship on an emotional level.

What is interesting however is that ‘Accountancy and Finance’ scored third. Finance workers tend to have significantly higher salaries – suggesting that women may subconsciously class money and power highly as people working in this environment are not particularly seen to exhibit emotional availability.

Sonia a 36 year old current member on the site said “Tradesmen for sure. They are cheeky and flirty and great banter. I much prefer the personality of a plumber or carpenter over some high flying executive who will only be seeing me to fuel his own ever-expanding ego. A businessman also spends all day talking or evaluating things at work, the last thing they want is to come home and talk some more. I think builders are less pretentious and more genuine in general. I imagine they would be physically fitter than someone stuck at their desk all day.”

The affairs site surveyed 2000 of its male members asking them what their choice of aftershave is, with Hugo Boss at the top with a 26% of the vote, suggesting that cheats can now be sniffed out.

In second place was Chanel Allure at 14% and third place Tom Ford (12%). Old Spice is also worth a mention, surprisingly 1% of members did opt for this ‘timeless’ aftershave, perhaps indicating that some men have simply not replaced their aftershave since 1936.

The site also polled the men on which type of smell is most attractive on a woman, and ‘Musky’ came on top with 25.40%, beating popular scents such as ‘Citrus’ (18.25%) and ‘Floral’ (13.49%). ‘Musky’ is a very animalistic smell, proposing that scent evokes very primitive instincts when it comes to levels of attraction.

It is interesting that Hugo Boss came in at such a high vote, perhaps affair seekers identify with it as a very masculine scent that is sure to entice a woman. What the winning three colognes have in common is that they are produced by very well known and long established fragrance companies which would appeal to many generations of men.

​Affairs Save Marriages and Cheating is on the Rise!

The UK’s largest married dating site IllicitEncounters.com will this month reach a milestone of 1 million members, that’s over 5% of the married population (or one person in every 10 couples).

The website has contacted some of the original members that joined the site when it first launched 11 years ago.

The site polled 200 of the 482 people still using the site since joining in the first year 2003-2004. The study shows that in the 11 years since joining, 80% of the customers are still married to the same person.

91% of those polled said that they would recommend having an affair and two thirds of those polled said that the affair had had a positive effect on their marriage. The average number of affairs had over this period of time is 5 affairs and the average length of the affair is 8 months.

It is really interesting that so many original members are still using the site, and to have had on average 5 affairs means that people are actively seeking to date outside of their marriage. 91% of affair seekers would recommend having an affair, challenging the notion that people regret having an affair – quite the opposite actually!

New research by the UK’s largest married dating site IllicitEncounters.com has shed light on why so many high profile celebrities are tempted into affairs with people who are closest to them. With a third of affair seekers admitting they would be willing to cheat with a husbands or wife’s close relative.

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 2000 of it’s members posing the question ‘Have you ever been tempted to have an illicit encounter with your partners relative such as a brother or sister in law?’ Out of the 2000 members an extraordinary 34% members answered ‘Yes’.

Out of the members admitting they have encountered temptation with someone close to them, an astonishing 11% also admitted that they have first hand experience of dalliance with a spouse’s family member.

It is very interesting that such a large percentage of people have fantasized about being unfaithful with someone so close to them, after all it is entering very dangerous territory. Britons Vote on Sexiest Celebrity Chefs

Nigella Lawson and James Martin have topped a poll on sexiest celebrity chefs according to new research released today by IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s largest married dating site.

The affairs site polled 750 women and 700 men to vote on their celebrity chef crush with James Martin topping the poll with 29% of the vote and Nigella Lawson with 56%.

In the male category Gordon Ramsay came second with 20% of the vote, and in joint third place Jamie Oliver (11%) and Marco Pierre White (11%)

In the female category Rachel Khoo came in second with 13%, and third place Loraine Pascale (9%)

James Martin winning suggests his straightforward, down to earth and possibly his northern charm appeals to a large majority of women. It is surprising though that the alpha-male of the bunch Gordon Ramsay didn’t fare better. What came as a shock, however, is Jamie Oliver received a significantly small amount of votes even though he was voted the nation’s greatest celebrity chef of all time in a recent poll commissioned by The Hundred-Foot Journey.

It is also interesting that 55 year old Nigella Lawson beat the younger and fresher faced Rachel Khoo who is only 34, indicating that age is nothing but a number when it comes to levels of attractiveness. The fact that Nigella Lawson also has a history of controversy didn’t seem to deter the public vote, with alleged drug use and advocating fur to add to her media portfolio she is seen to have a rebellious streak, whereas Rachel Khoo comes across as the sweet girl next door with no bad publicity.

With election fever gripping the nation, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading married dating website, has released data revealing the UK’s most unfaithful constituencies.

ElectionInfidelity.com cross-references the data of almost 1 million adulterers against the constituency they are in to reveal the illicit political hotspots within the United Kingdom.

Whilst conservatives are the most unfaithful voters, 4 of the top 5 most illicit constituencies are Labour:

The number of people cheating in each constituency was calculated using the postcode data of 995,000 members of IllicitEncounters.com. This was then ran against the number of people eligible to vote in each constituency to give a percentage or Infidelity Index for that area.

The party ranking was calculated by taking the party holding the seat in the constituency of all our members.
