Tall, Smart and Rich? You’re More Likely to Cheat

  • Tall, smart and rich men are more likely to cheat than anyone else
  • Meanwhile, women who describe themselves as lonely, virile and are housewives are more likely to cheat
  • The results show that men are driven to cheat because of lust, arrogance and their ego…
  • …while your typical women cheats because she’s being neglected by her significant other
  • The results come from lllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, who studied over 10,000 profiles to find out what common traits link to create the archetypal cheat.

Tall, smart and rich – if your husband is any of those, they’re more likely to be a cheat.

That’s according to IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity,

The site studied over 10,000 profiles to find out what common traits link to create the archetypal cheat.

The most common trait among cheating men was wealth, with references to being rich, wealthy or affluent appearing in a staggering 45% of all profiles.

This was followed by height. To be exact, 40% of all male profiles on the site were 6ft or taller.

Finally, intelligent men who were educated to at least a university degree level made up as much as 38% of all profiles on the site, indicating that smarter men are more likely to cheat.

For women, the most common trait was actually their job. As many as 30% of all women on IllicitEncounters.com describe themselves as lonely.

This was followed by the 27% of women who described themselves with terms such as ‘virile’ and finally, housewives, who make up 20% of all female profiles on the site – it’s the most popular female occupation to boot.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“Our results show that men have a tough time suppressing their ego. Tall, affluent, smart – these men have it all… or at least, they think they can have it all. They want to have their cake and eat it too, and that includes having as many relationships as they see fit.

“Not to mention, as a smart, wealthy and tall man, you’re more likely to be attracting female attention, whether you like it or not, which only serves to fuel their ego and make them consider an affair as a plausible option.

“Women on the other hand, paint a different story altogether. Your typical cheating women isn’t driven by arrogance, ego or lust, but by a sense of loneliness, thanks to a lack of satisfaction in her marriage.

“This loneliness is further compounded for housewives, who potentially spend hours alone, only to further be neglected when their husbands come home.”

Intelligent people are more likely to cheat, especially women

  • Intelligent people are more likely to cheat, new research has found
  • IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, studied the educational qualifications of 1,000 men and 1,000 women on its site, with 76% of women holding a bachelor’s degree or higher, compared to 65% of men.
  • 70% of men and 72% of women also worked in senior roles in, averaging £76,000 and £68,000 a year respectively.
  • Smarter and more successful individuals are much more attractive, meaning that they’re more likely to be desired by others; they have more opportunity to cheat
  • As for women, with so many being more financially stable than ever before, they’re less dependent on their significant other than they’ve ever been, so the risk of an affair is far less.

Bigger brains, bigger libido; intelligent people are more likely to have affairs, and women even more so.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, studied the educational qualifications of 1,000 men and 1,000 women on its site, with as many as 76% of women holding a bachelor’s degree or higher, compared to 65% of men.

Education, however, was not the standalone factor when it came to determining just how intelligent someone was.

The website also looked its members to find how many spoke more than one language (20% women, 9% men) and how many ran their own business (55% men, 48% women).

While that leaves plenty who don’t run their own business, 70% of men and 72% of women worked in senior roles in their respective professions, averaging £76,000 and £68,000 a year respectively.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains the link between a big brain and a bigger propensity to stray:

“Smarter people are immediately more attractive,” he explains.

“A big brain is a turn on for so many, and when you accompany that with a big salary, the allure of success means that smarter people find themselves in situations where the opportunity for temptation is greater than that of their less intelligent and less successful counterparts.”

“Intelligent, successful people also have the disposable income to be able to afford a little bit on the side, while their important job affords them the perfect excuse of ‘working late’ so they can sneak out for a secret rendezvous.

“They’re also natural problem solvers, better negotiators, and tend to take calculated risks, so, if their marriage hits the rocks, and they cannot – or do not – want to upset the applecart at home, they’ve got no problem in exploring their only other option: an affair.”

“As for the rise in women cheating, you can thank the increase in the amount of women choosing to focus on their careers, with children coming into the equation later in life, if at all.

“With more financial stability, they’re less dependent on their significant other than they’ve ever been, so the risk of an affair becomes far less.”

Revealed: Nearly 1 In 5 Cheat at the Office Christmas Party

Image result for office christmas party cheat

  • 18% of married people have cheated at the office Christmas party, a new survey has revealed
  • 45% admitted to kissing a colleague, while 77% flirted with one
  • 6% went all the way, having sex with their colleague, while 4% did it with their boss
  • 18% put their job on the line, telling their boss what they really thought of them
  • The results come from an annual survey of over 1,000 people on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Horrible karaoke, second hand embarrassment, and an illicit relationship with a colleague – the office Christmas party has it all.

An annual survey of over 1,000 people on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, found that 18% of those surveyed cheated with a colleague at the office Christmas party.

To be specific, 45% admitted to kissing a colleague, 66% seductively danced with one, while a whopping 77% flirted with one. 6% even admitted to going all the way and had sex with a colleague, while 4% had sex with their boss.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“The combination of good drinks and good vibes creates a scenario that’s ripe for cheating; whether that manifests itself as something as innocent as a bit of flirting or a full-blown affair is another story.

“Maybe you’ve always found your colleague attractive, and a little bit of alcohol is all that was needed for you to cross the line.

“Unfortunately, sleeping with a colleague can be more damaging in the long run than cheating with a stranger on a night out, or even with someone you meet online.

“Once the hangover disappears, the reality of your actions will sink in, and you’ll have to return to work in the coming days and weeks and confront your colleague one way or another – you’ll never be able to look them in the eye the same way again, that’s for sure.”

And the ramifications could be even worse for some, as 18% admitted to telling their boss exactly what they thought of them at the office Christmas party, with a further 14% admitting to having a shared a secret that they shouldn’t have.

“This almost always ends badly,” said Grant.

“At best, your boss will dismiss – or forget – your drunken ramblings. At worst, you’ll be in for a stern talking to the next day; you have absolutely nothing to gain.

“While the Christmas party is intended to be fun, it’s important to maintain a semblance of professionalism if you can.”

Watch Out! Friday 18th Is ‘Unfaithful Friday’…

Image result for unfaithful man

  • Friday 18th is Unfaithful Friday, the most popular day for an adulterer to see his mistress before the year ends
  • That means it’s the single biggest day a married woman is most likely to get cheated on this winter
  • The week of Unfaithful Friday see’s 30% more activity on married-dating website IllicitEncounters.com than any other week in November and December
  • In a survey of over 300 members on the site who’ve already found themselves a mistress, a whopping 72% sneak away on Unfaithful Friday for one final rendezvous before the year’s end
  • 20% spend the entire weekend with their mistress, with the most popular destinations being the Alps (18%), the Cotswold’s (15%) and Central London (13%)

Is your husband naughty or nice? As it turns out, it’s probably naughty.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, can reveal that an adulterer is more likely to spend time with his mistress on Friday 18th November than any other day in the final two months of the year.

‘Unfaithful Friday’ represents the single busiest day of the winter for adulterers, who sneak away with their mistress one last time before the Christmas festivities really kick in. By definition, that also makes it the single biggest day a married woman is most likely to get cheated on this winter.

The week of Unfaithful Friday see’s 30% more activity on married-dating website IllicitEncounters.com than any other week in November and December, as married men and women look for a last-minute romp before they return to their otherwise dull marriage.

In a survey of over 300 members on the site who’ve already found themselves a mistress, a whopping 72% sneak away on Unfaithful Friday for one final rendezvous before the year’s end, with 20% even spending the entire weekend with their alternate lover.

While 85% of adulterers regularly keep in contact with their mistress via text, phone or Face Time, the long-distance relationship simply isn’t enough to satiate their desires for weeks on end.

The most popular getaway destination for adulterers on the weekend of Unfaithful Friday is the Alps (18%), followed by Cotswold’s (15%), Central London (13%), Lake District (10%), Norway (8%), which is famous for the Northern Lights, and Austria (5%), which is well-known for its romantic Christmas markets.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“Unfaithful Friday, and the days that succeed it, represents the last chance an adulterer has to sneak away with their mistress.

“In the weeks to come, they’ll simply be overwhelmed with nativity plays, Christmas shopping, decorating and of course Christmas and New Year’s. Their kids will have time off from school, and their familial responsibilities will take priority.

“Needless to say, they want to take full advantage of the time they have together, so they often jet off to somewhere appropriately winter-y that’s equally as romantic and interesting. For those that do stay in the UK, country getaways to the Cotswold’s and Lake District prove popular, due to their location and general ease of access, or even a fancy hotel in Central London – one that’s close enough to get to, as well as being within close proximity of Winter Wonderland, but far enough away from home.

“So, ladies, if your husband has a ‘business trip’ on the weekend of the 18th, it might be wise to press him and question his motives.”

No Fast Charge, No Headphone Jack, But Could THIS Be the iPhone 7’s Biggest Omission?

The dual camera allows for zoom and depth of field

  • For adulterers, the iPhone 7 is dead on arrival, primarily thanks to its lack of any significant security improvements
  • Over 75% of 1,000 adulterers would purchase a new phone specifically for their extra-marital liaisons if it introduced new security features
  • The iPhone 5/5S/5C is the most popular phone of choice for adulterers, owned by 17% of those surveyed
  • The results come from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

The iPhone 7 might be hogging all the headlines, but for one community in particular, it’s bound to be a crushing disappointment.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, has found that the iPhone 5/5S/5C is the most popular phone among adulterers, with 17% of a survey of over 1,000 people claiming to browse the site on one of the iPhone 5 devices, but there’s nothing to suggest that the iPhone 7 is going to surpass its younger siblings anytime soon.

“The announcement of a new iPhone is of interest to so many people nowadays, not least adulterers,” explains the site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant.

However, the new iPhone 7 announced just yesterday doesn’t shake things up significantly when it comes to the security department.

It’s a huge missed opportunity for Apple. A phone can often be the Achilles heel when you’re conducting an affair. Maybe you leave it lying around on the coffee table, or your partner sees a call, text or email come through from someone they don’t recognize.

There’s a myriad of sensitive and private data that could easily give away your movements and intentions.”

It’s no surprise then that over 75% of members surveyed said that they’d purchase a new phone specifically for their extra-marital liaisons if it did enough to improve its security measures even further.

Whilst stats from the married dating site show that over 50% of all traffic is from mobile devices, 35% of which being Apple devices, there’s little to suggest that the iPhone 7’s imminent release is going to change the game.

It’s not all bad news for Apple however, as a phone from the iPhone 5 family is evidently an adulterers dream.

“A trustworthy brand, fingerprint technology, and in the case of the 5C, a low price, one of the iPhone 5 family is an excellent and popular choice for the adulterer who isn’t looking to splash an exorbitant amount of money on a 2nd phone,” explains Grant.

“While there are even cheaper alternatives, particularly brands like OnePlus or Huawei, Apple have the branding and cachet that few others can match.”

Most Popular Phones for Adulterers

  1. Other (52%)
  2. iPhone 5/5S/5C (17%)
  3. iPhone 6S/S Plus (12%)
  4. Samsung Galaxy 6/6 Edge (10%)
  5. Samsung Galaxy 7/7 Edge (5%)
  6. OnePlus 2 (3%)
  7. iPhone 4 (1%)

Revealed: You’re LESS Likely to Stray If You Own This Domestic Pet…

Image result for dog owner man

  • Dog owners are happier, healthier and now they’re more faithful than any other pet owner too, new research has revealed
  • IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, found that just 10% of over 700 members surveyed owned dogs, making dog owners the most faithful
  • The least faithful among us are cat owners (25%), while 16% own fish and 11% rabbits
  • A dog’s qualities, such as loyalty and unconditional love, are often reflected in their owner

If your marriage has hit a ruff patch, you better hope you’re married to a dog lover. Research released today by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, has shown that just 10% of over 700 members surveyed are dog owners, making dog owners the most faithful pet owners in the UK.

On the other hand, as many as 25% owned cats, with 16% owning fish, 13% hamsters/gerbils, 11% rabbits and 11% reptiles.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“There has already been a plethora of scientific studies that claim that owning a dog, or dogs, makes you happier and healthier, and now you can add loyalty to that list.

It’s an interesting, if not unexpected result. Man’s best friend is the UK’s most popular pet, and has been for a very long time, but not among this particular community it seems.

A dog’s qualities are usually reflected in their owner, and loyalty, unconditional love, friendship and a sense of protectiveness are qualities that everyone associates with canines, regardless of their size, breed or gender.

By the same token, a cat’s loyalty is a little more unclear. Often lazy, they’ve been known to drift to whomever is offering them more food, so it’s of little surprise to see that lack of loyalty reflected in our study.”

With that said, not every dog owner is squeaky clean, as Grant admits:

“We’re not so foolish to say that every dog owner is the perfect human being – we can’t justify that sort of generalization. In fact, we’ve a couple of members who breed greyhounds for a living, while many work closely with dogs, be that as a vet, volunteer worker, dog walker or otherwise.”

Adulterous Pet Owners:

1. Cat (25%)

2. Fish (16%)

3. Other/no pet (14%)

4. Hamster/Gerbil (13%)

5. Rabbit (11%)

6. Reptile (11%)

7. Dog (10%)

Men With Big Feet Are More Likely to Cheat!

  • Men with a shoe size of 10 or over are at least twice as likely to cheat on their partner, compared to those with a shoe size of less than 10
  • The most common shoe size for adulterous men was 10.5
  • Many famous celebrity cheats, including Bill Clinton and Tiger Woods, sport a shoe size of 10 or over
  • There was no correlation to be found between adultery and shoe size when it came to women
  • The research was conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Having big feet means you have a large c… chance of having an affair. IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed over 1,500 of their male members and found a positive correlation between a man’s shoe size and their likelihood of having an affair.

Men with a shoe size of 10 or over are at least twice as likely to have an affair than those with a shoe size of less than 10, while the most faithful men sport feet between the sizes of 7 and 9. The most common shoe size for adulterous men was 10.5.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, said:

“While many would argue that there’s more to having an affair than one’s foot size, the data doesn’t lie. Men who sport a shoe size of 10 and over account for 85% of all men on the site, with the remaining 15% having a shoe size of 9 and under.

It looks like women whose husbands have small feet can sleep relatively comfortably at night, while those with husbands who have a big pair of loafers should perhaps be more mindful.”

The results of the study also correlate with various celebrity cheats, with Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant and Gavin Rossdale all sporting a shoe size of 10 and over.

Interestingly, the same could not be said of women. Of the 1,000 women who were surveyed, there was no correlation to be found between big feet and adultery, though the most common shoe size was 6.5 (13%).

“While women across the country have something to potentially stress over, the nation’s husbands have the privilege of not having any feet related paranoia,” said Grant.

“I’m just not ready for commitment yet” – most popular line women use to dump a partner, according to new research

Dump-signs

“I’m just not ready for commitment yet” – most popular line women use to dump a partner, according to new research

* Second most popular is “This is going too fast for me” and “We’re just not a good match” is third;

* The top answer men use for ending a relationship with a woman is the much more brutal: “It’s just not working;”

* Women are more concerned about softening the blowing and not hurting their partner’s feelings;

* Men are more likely to highlight poor sex and lack of physical compatibility in their answers;

* The answers are from a new poll of 1,000 people by Britain’s biggest extra-marital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com

Women have revealed their ten favourite lines for telling a partner a relationship is over and the top answer is: “I’m just not ready for commitment yet.”

The second most popular line is “This is going to fast for me” and the third is: “We’re just not a good match.”

The results show that women are far more sensitive then men when it comes to ending a relationship.

The top answer for men ending a relationship with a woman is the far more brutal: “It’s just not working.”

In second place for men is “I’ve met someone else” and “I’m not attracted to you any more” is third.

The results are revealed in a new survey of 1,000 people by Britain’s biggest extra-marital affairs dating site, IllicitEncounters.com.

Women are more concerned about softening the blow and coming up with reasons for the break-up which hide their lover’s failings.

Men are far more likely to tell it straight and say exactly why they want to end it, even if that involves admitting they have met someone else.

Poor sex and lack physical compatibility were far more important to men than women in the reasons they give for ending a relationship.

Women are more likely than men to end a relationship face-to-face but both sexes are increasingly using email and even text to tell a lover they are history.

Just over half of women (52%) would meet a partner to say the relationship is over, while fewer than half of men (43%) would break the news in person.

A third of women prefer to end a relationship over the phone (27%), 15% have done it by email and 8% have done it by text.

Men are more likely to give the bad news electronically – 21% of men have dumped a partner by email and 19% have done it by text, while just 17% prefer to do it on the phone.
llicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said that increasing numbers of online daters jump quickly from one relationship to the next.

He said: “They meet someone they like, have some fun and then quickly moved on. If you are going to be a success dating online you have to learn how to end a relationship without causing too much fuss.

“Men could learn a lot from women in the art of letting a partner now gently. Women far more likely to find euphemisms to sweeten the pill – saying it is a ‘relationship’ failure rather than being down to the man’s failings.

“Men have much less imagination and just tell women straight what has gone wrong.”
Every week, around 20,000 people in the UK are having affairs on IllicitEncounters.com.
The average income of the men on the site is £54,000 a year, with most working in professional jobs.

• 58% of men have an affair in search of intimacy, compared to 40% of women
• 65% of women have an affair in search of a meaningful relationship
• Almost two thirds of men are jealous of an intimate affair, while over half of women are jealous of an emotional affair
• The results come from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Men are lustful, while women want something more. IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed over 1000 of their members and found that 58% of men have an affair for sex, compared to 40% of women, while 65% of women have an affair in search of a deeper, more meaningful relationship.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, explains: “Typical men, right? Maybe, maybe not. The average man on IllicitEncounters.com is a high earner and a hard worker. As it stands, he just about has enough time to juggle his current daily routine, balancing his work and familial responsibilities.

There simply isn’t any room for him to meet a second woman and delve into a deep and meaningful relationship. A quick fling however, now that’s an entirely different story.

The women on the other hand are the ones who find themselves on the receiving end of this kind of a relationship. Their husbands work long hours, sacrifice time spent at home for time spent at work, so they’re yearning for some companionship.

Women want what they can’t have at home; they can’t be wined, dined and experience something meaningful.”

Maria, a 42-year-old estate agent from London, said: “One of the big compromises of having a successful career is inevitably a lack of time spent in other areas. In my marriage, I am that other area. While I love my husband, I can’t remember the last time we spent any sort of meaningful, quality time together – even something small.”

But what happens when the tables are turned? IllicitEncounters.com found that almost two thirds of men were jealous of an intimate affair (63%), while over half of women (54%) were more likely to be jealous of an emotional affair.

Grant explains: “For a lot of men, the idea that another man is able to satisfy his wife’s needs better than they can is a demoralizing and emasculating thought. Women, meanwhile, are more concerned with their husband’s being emotionally unfaithful. Sex might not even come into the equation – it’s more so the idea that their man prefers being in the company of another woman.”

Monogamy Isn’t in Our DNA! New Survey Shows That Even People in A Happy Marriage Cheat Too

the-real-reason-happy-married-people-cheat-is-so-surprising

One thing’s for certain, only people in a crumbling marriage cheat. Except, that’s not true at all. IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading and longest running dating website for married people, surveyed 1000 of its members, finding that 45% of affair-seeking men and 34% of affair-seeking women declared themselves to be in a happy marriage.

“It’s a result that may surprise some,” says IllicitEncounters.com’s spokesperson, Christian Grant.

“A common misconception is that anyone who cheats must be at the end of their tether with their partner, and that simply isn’t true. What’s equally as false is the idea that anyone who seeks an affair does so purely because they’re ‘bad’ or ‘immoral’ – there are all sorts of reasons.”

One of those reasons, as one anonymous respondent explains, is the lack of intimacy that develops the longer a marriage goes on: “[I’m] happy with life running smoothly in most respects. I have a comfortable life and I get on with my wife and we are good friends. [However] she is older than me and is no longer interested in a physical relationship and thus the warmth that goes with that. I still want that physicality but not in one night stands – in a long-term old fashioned relationship of getting to know each other.”

And he’s not alone, with a further 30% of men (and 27% of women), claiming that a lack of intimacy and passion is the main driving force behind their desire to have an affair.

Another claims: “Although absolutely lovely, my partner is not enough for me. I need a lot of attention, affection and conversation, and he is not able to meet those needs due to working long hours and being very tired when at home.”

Grant adds: “Maintaining the level of passion and intimacy in a relationship is incredibly difficult. Are we meant to be monogamous by design? The evidence suggests otherwise. It seems to be the case that a once romantic marriage can often develop into something that resembles the relationship between a brother and sister. Some people can live with it. Most can’t.”

However, an affair isn’t always driven by lust. There are, in fact, a plethora of different reasons, with IllicitEncounters.com’s survey finding that 30% of men and 22% of women noted health issues as their main motivation to search for a partner outside of their current relationship.

One respondent noted: “My partner lost her libido 2 years ago as a result of menopause, so there’s no longer any intimacy, sexual innuendo or lovemaking.”

“It might be tough to talk about, but for a lot of men and women of a certain age, things like menopause, erectile dysfunction and a handful of other barriers come into play,” explains Grant.

“It’s unfortunate and unavoidable, but it invariably has a negative impact on the intimate side of one’s relationship.”

Finally, the survey found that, for 20% of men and 25% of women, cheating on their partner was an integral component of keeping their marriage a happy.

“Variety is the spice of life,” says one female respondent. “Having an affair actually keeps me married – i.e. I don’t walk out because I’m bored or unhappy.”

The remainder of the respondents listed miscellaneous reasons for their desire to have an affair.
