You’re caught! The Top Ten Apps that Bust Affairs!

Married dating site IllicitEncounters.com released a list of the top apps that are to blame for breakups. The list was based on votes from 100 women, all who found out their husbands were having affairs on apps.

The top ten adultery-busting apps were:

1) Facebook – The biggest culprit is the social network giant. 76% of women said they became suspicious when they logged into their partner’s Facebook and found out he was messaging other women; stalked his female friends and found out he was still friends with an ex; or saw he had become friends with someone they later discovered he was having an affair with.

2) Whatsapp – 34% of women said their suspicions were raised when they found their husband was in contact with other women, or could see that he was lying about his location, via Whatsapp.

3) i-Message – Any communication through i-Message also goes to your iPad, laptop etc. so if your laptop is at your house, along with your wife, you might get busted. 29% of women said they became aware of their husband’s affair through his i-Message communications.

4) Snapchat – Often mistaken as the best app if you’re having an affair because images are wiped after ten seconds, people forget that you can take a screenshot of your images and that your history shows who you’ve been in contact with. 27% of women said they became suspicious when they saw contact from other women on their husband’s phone via Snapchat – more than half of these women said they would have been less suspicious if they could see what the pictures were, but the secrecy made them more suspicious.

5) Manything – It’s CCTV for your phone, laptop or tablet. It livestreams and records the inside of your house to the cloud. 19% of women said they had caught their husbands cheating or speaking to their mistress on the phone when they were out of the house via Manything.

6) Find my iPhone – This app locates people in seconds so if you leave the house with your phone and you’re not where you say you are, you could land yourself in trouble. 11% of women said they found out their husband was not where he said he was by tracking him with Find my iPhone.

7) Kik – This adult-orientated app has an age restriction, for 17+. More than half of the members (57%) on Illicit Encounters said they use Kik for ‘sexting’ and sending ‘naughty pictures’. 7% of women surveyed said they became concerned about their husband’s fidelity when they saw the Kik app on his phone.

8) Lie Detector: True Scanner app – This is an application that can detect lies through the touch screen and by detecting physical changes in the body of the person being interrogated, such as changes in emotional state, blood pressure, mood detection, finger sweating and finger temperature. 5% of women said they knew their husband was lying about his fidelity when he didn’t pass the lie detector test or refused to take it.

9) Tinder – Discretion is abandoned by anyone having an affair and using Tinder. 4% of women said they doubted their husband’s faithfulness when they saw Tinder on his phone.

10) Find my Friend – 2% of women knew their husband was lying about his whereabouts when this app showed his location to be different to where he said he was.

“What I find most interesting about this list is how obvious some men are!” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “Discretion is our main priority and the most important thing when having a successful affair. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to be friends with their mistress or histress on Facebook – it’s just asking for trouble. Four in five breakups are linked with Facebook so if you’re having an affair, don’t learn from you own mistakes – learn from other people’s, and keep it off social media!”

Of the 100 women surveyed who found out their husbands were having affairs on apps, 28% stayed with their husbands. The top three reasons these women stayed with their husbands despite being aware of their husband’s infidelity were:

1) I cannot afford to leave him (57%)

2) I am having an affair too (32%)

3) I don’t want to change the family setup (7%)

Therapists at leading charity ‘Relationships Ireland’ say as many as 80% of marriages they are trying to save have fallen apart partly because of Facebook.

According to a study by journal CyberPsychology, 28 million couples break up every year because of Facebook or Whatsapp.

Increase Number of Geriatric Affairs, thanks to Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel!

gtixruz213vkhazspzg5

Hollywood has inspired a generation in their mature years to get married and start affairs, according to new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating website, who have seen an 87.5% over the past two years in members over the age of 50.

Although there’s an increase in the number of people getting married in later life, there is also an increase in affairs – over 49,123 of members on IllicitEncounters.com are aged 60+ (an increase of 60% since 2013), while 137,040 are aged 50-59 (an increase of 115% since 2013).

“Our research shows that 71% of women get a confidence boost after an affair. The two biggest age brackets of these women were 50-59 and 40-49 respectfully,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “We believe it’s this confidence boost that helps them leave a bad marriage or else start a new affair – one they deserve! Movies like The Quartet, The Second Best Marigold Hotel, A Song for Marion and The Hundred Foot Journey have all inspired adventure in later life, and love is the greatest adventure of all. Life is short, and it’s shorter when you’re in your mature years. People seem to get a wake-up call with an illness, stroke or health scare and realise how precious time is, and they’d be better off spending it with someone who makes them happy, rather than being trapped in a stale marriage”

There are currently 988,604 members on IllicitEncounters.com, and 186,163 are aged 50+, which means one in every five (19%) having an affair are over 50.

49,123 of members on IllicitEncounters.com are aged 60+ (an increase of 11,882 since 2013, and a 60% increase on the annual average), while 137,040 are aged 50-59 (an increase of 41,293 since 2013, and a 115% increase on the annual average).

After almost 30 years of decline, the number of marriages began to rise since 2013, led by women in their late 50s and male pensioners, to almost 250,000 marriages in 2013, according to the Office for National Statistics.

71% of women get a confidence boost after an affair. Of the women who said they got a confidence boost after an affair, the most popular age brackets were as follows:

1)50-59 (31%)

2)40-49 (24%)

3)60-69 (20%)

4)30-39 (11%)

5)21-29 (8%)

6)70-79 (6%)

Atheists are More Faithful than Christians!

ucgof3whh2idntksquxo

New information released today by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com crushes the argument that people who have no God have no moral compass.

Atheists have less affairs than Christians in the UK with more than ten Christian adulterers for every one Atheist.

IllicitEncounters members were asked what religious group they belonged to and Atheists scored only 6%, compared to 64% classing themselves as Christian.

“It’s incredibly ironic that Atheists are more faithful than Christians,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “It proves the argument that what some people perceive as immoral – like adultery – isn’t increased by the lack of spiritual guidance. If the only reason you don’t kill someone, or steal, or covet thy neighbour’s wife, is because it tells you not to in the bible, to me, that’s a lot more worrying. To me, that says you can’t think for yourself what is right and wrong. Besides, for us and our 987,000 customers, we don’t look at affairs like most people do. There are many reasons people have affairs, it’s not as black and white as some people think.”

“Often, non-believers have a better interpretation of what is wrong and right than believers.” Psychologist Lucy Redford said “One of the main reasons people step away from Christianity is because they see hypocrisy, guilt and double-standards in the scriptures. For many, following a value system in a world that seems crippled with warped ideas and moral codes is, on one hand, a saving grace, but atheists are independent in their thinking – they don’t have an organisation telling them how to think, and they challenge any organised systems, like religion, government, work or politics they see as unjust. They don’t believe God makes everything happen – instead they make their own luck and take responsibility for the consequences.”

Which Religious Group Do You Belong To?

Affairs add £1.2 Billion to the Economy!

qvomrmyd5hrauby3ndca

People having affairs have helped the economy with a boost of over £1.2 billion, and a stronger economy means more people are having affairs, according to married dating website IllicitEncounters.com. The current strength of Britain’s economy has to thank the adulterers who have injected the country with money.

George Osborne has told MPs “Britain is walking tall again” after five years of coalition government. Since the coalition government took over from Labour 525,248 new members have joined IllicitEncounters from the 1st March 2010 to 1st March 2015, seeking affairs. Currently, there are over 987,713 members on the site.

“We have almost 1 million members who have greatly contributed to the nation’s economic strength,” Simon Francis, CEO for IllicitEncounters.com said, “Affairs inject huge funds into society. Hotels, dinners, drinks, flights, presents and extra phones all add up.

“Smaller, struggling hotels and restaurants benefit the most from adulterers – their popularity is because of their discretion. Bigger, more popular hotels and restaurants are busier and have an increased risk of lovers being seen by someone they know. Affairs should be silent, hidden and discrete but the great affairs, the ones to remember, don’t come cheaply, which is why most of our members are richer, better educated and more successful than the average person – and pay more tax. Osborne’s budget has hugely benefited from all of the adulterers across the UK.”

A room at the Ritz starts at £380, Travelodge is from £155, the Hilton is from £201, while the Marriott starts at £265. The average IllicitEncounters member spends £3,255 a year on their mistress which adds £1.2 billion to the UK economy (larger than the GDP of Belize).

Although affairs help the economy, a strong economy also helps affairs. It’s a cycle of benefits. When an economy’s confidence grows, so does people’s belief that they can stray without getting caught. The number of wives and husbands who have signed up to dating websites behind their partner’s back have swelled in the past five years. 78% of members on IllicitEncounters.com say their marriage has improved since having an affair.

The Dirtiest Places Brits Have Sex!

pm1c3z0xndybmvlxa44v

Research released today by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site, shows just how naughty Brits are and how many of us get in it on in unusual and not always the most hygienic places – 500 surveyed were asked where they had sexual relations. The mile high club is less popular than people think – only 0.4% (2 in 500 people) said they had sex in an airplane; 6% had sex on a train or tube; 34% had sex in a toilet; 5.4% had sexual relations on a bus; 7% got hot and heavy in a tent; 76% had intimacies in a car, while 68% got down and dirty on kitchen surfaces.

Microbiologist Rhiannon Hayes said “The London underground is one of the dirtiest places in Britain. Toilets obviously contain a lot of bacteria but interestingly, we found higher levels of bodily fluid in the disabled toilets than in the non-disabled. Train seats are known to contain traces of semen, faeces, urine, alcohol, blood, grease, human skin, hair and sugar. In terms of household bacteria, the kitchen is a hive for germs. The average kitchen surface has very dangerous bacteria such as e-coli, listeria, salmonella and campylobacter – which can cause paralysis. Tents are also crawling with outdoor bacteria such as Xanthomonas campestris, while cars contain over 600 bugs and ten times more bacteria than a public toilet seat.”

“Presumably more people get it on in disabled than non-disabled toilets because there’s more room,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “I don’t see the appeal of intercourse on the tube, but the evidence shows it happens. Apart from anything else, it’s incredibly unhygienic, but when passion is high and alcohol is involved, we all do things that aren’t exactly graceful. It doesn’t surprise me that the mile-high club isn’t as popular as Hollywood movies imply – have you ever been inside an airplane toilet? There’s hardly enough room to move, let alone get it on! The results I found most shocking were the amount of bacteria in cars. People are very conscious of keeping their homes clean but don’t pay as much attention to the interior cleanliness of their cars.”

Less than a third of people (31%) surveyed cleaned their car annually, while one in nine said they didn’t wipe down surfaces, and two in three said they never hoover their car’s interior.

The First Thing Women do After a Divorce is get a Hair Makeover!

mg5yhzqvqx0dggud2gvl

The First Thing Women do After a Divorce is get a Hair Makeover!

The most common first thing a woman does after getting divorced is get their hair done, before calling their mother, meeting up with their girlfriends or going for a drink, according to new research by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com. Women tend to follow in the footsteps of Cheryl, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Aniston, all whom had hair makeovers after a breakup.

The research, which surveyed 200 divorced or legally separated female members of IllicitEncounters.com, also found that women having an affair spend up to three times more on visits to beauty salons and hairdressers than their faithful counterparts – one would guess they want to look their absolute best for their illicit lover.

Women also open up more to their hairdressers than some of their best friends or close family members. 62% of women (124) said they would sooner tell their relationship problems to their hairdressers than their mother, father or siblings. 68% of women said they would tell their hairdressers if they were having an affair before telling their best friends.

The top three reasons were:

  • 1)I get less judgement from my hairdresser.
  • 2)My hairdresser doesn’t know my partner so I can be more honest.
  • 3)They will be more honest with me because they know me but they’re not too close to give me a biased opinion.

More women tend to open up more when they’re getting highlights, treatments or cuts, than when they’re having a blow-dry as they’re not shouting over hairdryers.

Psychologist Lucy Redford said “There is a known psychological effect occurring between a hairdresser and their clients, they offer a non-bias, non-judgment environment which makes women feel comfortable in sharing the secrets. Clients place a lot of trust in someone cutting their hair and there is an extension of this trust when they confide in them, oftentimes telling them things they wouldn’t tell their closest friends or family members.”

However this theory doesn’t convert to men, who are surprisingly more likely to share their innermost secrets with a selected best friend rather than a stranger such as a hairdresser or a barber. Possibly the ‘bros before hoes’ code is still going strong among male adulterers enabling them to feel secure and supported whatever their actions may be.

“It makes perfect sense that women go straight to the hairdressers after a breakup.” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “There’s something incredibly rejuvenating and reinvigorating about a hair makeover and it’s exactly what you need when you’ve ended something as emotional and physical as a relationship.”

Top Ten Songs People Listen to After a Breakup!

Top Ten Songs People Listen to after a Breakup

A poll with 500 votes by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com found that 79% of people listen to more music after a breakup, and showed what the top breakup songs were.

“Interestingly, we found that Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ is the most popular song immediately after breakups,” Claire Page, spokesperson for Illicit Encounters said, “But Gotye’s ‘Someone That I Used to Know’ is the most popular song two-weeks after breakups. This really reflects the emotional process of a breakup – initially sorrow and then anger. At first, breakups are emotionally exhausting, but time is a healer and after a while you pull yourself together and realise that the person you were with wasn’t meant for you, or you may even look back with fondness for what once made you happy.”

The Top Break Up Songs were:

  • 1)Adele – Someone Like You
  • 2)Eric Carmen – All By Myself
  • 3)Bon Iver – I can’t make you love me
  • 4)Michael Bolton – How am I supposed to live without you?
  • 5)Christina Perri – Jar of Hearts
  • 6)Gotye – Somebody that I used to know
  • 7)Joy Division – Love Will Tear us Apart
  • 8)Harry Nilsson – Without You
  • 9)Roxette – It Must Have Been Love
  • 10)Sinéad O’Connor – Nothing Compares to You

“Music can be incredibly therapeutic,” psychologist Lucy Redford said, “It’s been proven to help with anxiety, stress, relaxation and depression. Music is a core function in our brain. The power of sound is immense. Our brain is primed early on to process and react to sound. Studies have proven that day-old infants can detect the differences in rhythmic patterns. For centuries, mothers relax and sooth their babies with lullabies. Speaking purely evolutionary, music precedes language. It isn’t fully clear to us why, but our brains are wired to automatically respond to music. In a way, music helps our survival because healthy minds outgrow and outlive unhealthy minds, and healthy minds mean healthy bodies.”

Most Romantic Food of all Time: Top Ten Foods that get you in the Mood!

wxuyywvhktxwmd1fhvou

Making someone laugh, being physically attractive and intellectually stimulating are all things we associate with turning someone on but new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK and Ireland’s largest married dating site, shows that food can be more arousing than any of these. On a first date, good food is almost twice as important as the date’s sense of humour.

500 members on Illicit Encounters were asked ‘what’s the most important thing on a first date?’ The top five answers were as follows:

  • 1)My food is good (32%)
  • 2)My date has a good sense of humour (20%)
  • 3)I look attractive (18%)
  • 4)My date looks attractive (12%)
  • 5)The conversation is intellectually stimulating (10%)

Dietician Nadine Walters said food is so important because it stimulates more of the senses (taste, smell, sight and hearing) than conversation (hearing) or physical presentation (sight and maybe touch). This is a list of her top ten aphrodisiacs and why they turn you on:

  • 1)Chocolate – “Large quantities of chocolate can lead to a rapid rise in blood sugar and a consequent drop below normal levels resulting in fatigue,” Walters said “But cocoa contains phenyl ethylamine, a stimulant that conjures feel-good emotions that makes you feel like getting close to someone and think sex is a fabulous idea.”
  • 2)Red wine – “We all know that alcohol helps you relax and unwind, but red vino contains resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant which helps blood flow and improves circulation before sex which makes you more sensitive.”
  • 3)Asparagus and avocados – “These super-healthy vegetables contain Vitamin E which helps your body produce hormones like oestrogen, testosterone and progesterone, all which circulate in your bloodstream and stimulate sexual responders like the clitoris and the vagina.”
  • 4)Chilies – “Not only do they boost energy, improve memory and even fight fat, they also contain capsaicin, a chemical which boosts circulation to get blood pumping and stimulates nerve endings, which means you’ll feel turned on. Result!”
  • 5)Oysters – “Perhaps the notion of gooey wobbly shellfish being an aphrodisiac is a bit hard to imagine but they’re brimming with zinc, a mineral which increases the production of testosterone, which increases your sex drive.”
  • 6)Bananas – “They give you potassium, a key nutrient to strength, which means when you orgasm, the contractions are very intense.”
  • 7)Pomegranates – “Full of antioxidants, they protect the lining of blood vessels, and improve circulation, which means increased genital sensitivity.”
  • 8)Walnuts – “They’re full of omega-3 fatty acids, which keep sex-hormone production high. Salmon, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sardines and beef also contain omega-3 fatty acids.”
  • 9)Vanilla – “This sweet bean stimulates nerves and makes sexual sensation feel even better.”
  • 10)Watermelon – “This juicy fruit contains phytonutrient citrulline – this leads to an increase in nitric oxide in your body, which causes blood vessels to relax and speed up circulation. What does all this mean? You’ll get more aroused faster.”

Green Saturday: the day you’re most likely to ‘Get Lucky’ is Paddy’s Day weekend!

wnzo1q3gai5e38zmoncg

Green Saturday: the day you’re most likely to ‘Get Lucky’ is Paddy’s Day weekend!

Green Saturday is coming – the day of the year that you’re most likely to get lucky – and its three days before Saint Patrick’s Day, on the 14th March.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK and Ireland’s top married dating site, surveyed 500 people and asked them what day of the year they would most likely sleep with someone. The majority of people (68% – 342) said they would sleep with someone the weekend before Paddy’s Day, beating New Year’s Eve, Stephen’s Day and Valentine’s Day.

More than a third of those surveyed (36%) said they would sleep with a stranger or someone they met that night. The majority (289 of 500) said they don’t have a regular sexual partner or don’t have sex regularly. 82% of people said they would be drinking on Saturday the 14th. Those who said they would sleep with someone on Saturday the 14th over Tuesday the 17th said their increased drinking pattern directly impacted on their increased sexual activity, and gave the following reasons for choosing the weekend over the official Saint Patrick’s Day:

  • 1)Sunday can be my day of recovery.
  • 2)I won’t have to call in sick on Wednesday when I’m obviously hung-over.
  • 3)I won’t have to work while hung-over on Wednesday.
  • 4)I won’t be drinking too much on Tuesday because I have work the next day and don’t want to be hung over.
  • 5)I’ll be drunk enough for a one-night-stand because I’ll start drinking early on Saturday.

Alcohol consumption levels are dependent on weather for most, as 59% of people agreed that they would ‘drink less if the weather is bad’. Based on this, people will be drinking more than usual because weather on Saturday is predicted to be clear and sunny (14 Degrees Celsius according to weather.com!).

When asked why they will drink less if the weather is bad the top responses were:

  • 1)I prefer drinking outdoors – riverside, or in a park, or in a beer garden.
  • 2)I can walk from pub to pub without getting a taxi if it’s raining.
  • 3)I like relaxing in the sun when I’m drinking.
  • 4)Drinking outside is more social.
  • 5)I have to drive home if it’s raining, but I can walk if it’s sunny, and drink more.

“It doesn’t surprise me that the top day people will have sex this year is the weekend before Paddy’s Day,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “Paddy’s Day is the biggest drinking day of the year, and people are sexually liberated when they’re drunk, so of course Green Saturday will see a lot of people getting lucky! People are usually better at sex after a drink or two. It makes them less tense, reduces their inhibitions and because alcohol is a social lubricant, people are less awkward after a glass or two. Alcohol in moderation actually makes you more attractive too: it increases blood flow and gives you a nice rosy glow. It also increases your confidence!”

Alcohol abuse costs the state a billion euro a year but Doctor Aoife Murphy explained that alcohol contributes to more people being promiscuous and enjoying the health benefits associated with sex – “People have more sex when they’ve consumed alcohol, particularly with people they’re not in a relationship with. Regular sex has many health benefits – firstly, it improves women’s bladder control. A strong pelvic floor is highly important for avoiding inconsistence, something that affects one in three women at some point in their lives. Sex is like a work out for your pelvic floor. When you have an orgasm, it contracts these muscles, which strengthens them. Sex also lowers systolic blood pressure and it’s a great form of exercise, which is great for weight loss and is good for your heart – as well as raising your heart rate, sex keeps oestrogen and testosterone levels balanced. Sex is also a natural pain reliever, often more powerful than Paracetamol. Vaginal stimulation can block chronic leg and back pain, and I’ve seen many cases where women claim genital stimulation (including self-stimulation) can help migraines, headaches, arthritis and menstrual cramps. It also boots immunity – those who have regular sex have higher levels of immunoglobulin A, an antibody that helps ward off common cold and flu symptoms.”

Who’s Cheating in Your neighbourhood? UK’s 2015 Infidelity Index Revealed!

cpy6adthmch2lxch6aw6

Beeston is 2015’s most adulterous town in the UK, according to the interactive website–www.infidelityindex.co.uk.

The 2015 Index is released today by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site and shows the number of people having affairs in every area in the UK. The Index maps IllicitEnounters’ members across the UK giving a very true reflection of where the most and least affairs are taking place.

Beeston is the most unfaithful with 2.54% of the population of the town having an affair. The mayor of Beeston was unavailable to comment on the town’s newfound infamy.

Livingston is the most adulterous town in Scotland and second most adulterous town in the UK with 2.03% of the population straying, while Craigavon in Northern Ireland is the most faithful with only 0.04% of the population having affairs.

“It’s no wonder the traffic to the site is so high.” Claire Page of IllicitEncounters.com said “People are dying to see how many people are having an affair on their street, village or town – who wouldn’t want to know if they live in a cheating hotspot? Thousands of people are checking the Illicit Index to see how many people in their area are having affairs. I think it’s great that Beeston is the most unfaithful town of 2015. People think you’d get more life in a graveyard than in Beeston but the Illicit Index proves one thing: it’s always the quiet ones!”

“There are many reasons people have affairs in small towns like Beeston – feelings of frustration, isolation and loneliness can be contributing factors as well as the limited options in marriage.” psychologist Lucy Redford said, “Discretion is usually the main priority in extra-marital affairs. If secrecy wasn’t important, the individual would seek a divorce before an affair. Oftentimes when passion has left a relationship, but people don’t want to fracture their home status or disrupt a family unit, and they’re not willing to compromise their sex lives, an affair becomes tempting for their situation.”
